Dan Fredman
Dan Fredman has spent the past several decades working in and around the wine industry for the likes of importers Kermit Lynch and The Grateful Palate, as well as retailers such as the Wine House, Wine Expo, and 20-20 Wines. As the owner of a wine-focused public relations firm, Dan serves as an advocate for artisan wine producers and sustainable viticultural and enological practices. He was the 2007 recipient of Hospice du Rhône’s “Person of the Year” award, has spent valuable time in the Master of Wine program, and oversees the sommelier teams at Hospice du Rhone as Chief Sommelier and at the annual World of Pinot Noir symposium as its Co-Chief Sommelier. Most importantly, he still enjoys being involved in every aspect of wine enjoyment.

Joyce Stein
Joyce Stein was raised in the restaurant industry in her parents’ Italian restaurants in Atlanta. Her passion followed her to New Orleans where she worked at Brennan’s restaurant while going to school at Tulane University. After years spent toiling in the salt mines of the entertainment industry in finance, sales and marketing, Joyce followed her passion for wine and has been a top performing salesperson in the wine industry for the past five years, working initially for a boutique import/distribution company and currently with The Henry Wine Group.  Joyce has served as a sommelier at top wine events, including Hospice du Rhône and the Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival; food and wine are both keystones in her passion for life.
